BP Affiliation

We're affiliated with Boundary Park!

 Boundary Park Pavillion

It's official - it's Facebook official - the Harwell Harriers are now affiliated with Boundary Park.

We start most of our runs outside the Boundary Park sports pavillion but we have never "officially" been allowed to warmup in their car park or use their facilities, thankfully pavillion has always accomodated and accepting of our running club. We have spoken many times about the option of affiliating with the sports paviliion and have decided that now is time to put our stamp on the local community and share the love with Boundary Park.

What does affiliation mean for us? Well, most importantly, we get to have official use of their facilities which means full use of their toilets and changing rooms as well as a place to keep warm before the winter nights instead of huddling together like penguins outside!

We will also have free use of their social room so we will be able to offer more free (or at least very cheap) social nights going forwards as well as a gauranteed place for our committee and coaches to host monthly meetings.

We will get our club kit proudly framed and displayed inside the bar area as a reminder of why you deserve that drink... or perhaps why you need to go for a run the next day!

Online card payments are live!

More exciting news - We now accept card payments for memberships!

We have integrated with a widely used card payment provider called Stripe. Stripe allows us to take credit or debit card payments across Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards as well as enabling you to use Google Wallet or Apple Pay. You can also store your card details to enable 1 click purchasing at renewal time or when you may want to pay for other club related things like kit or Cross Country Championship cover charges.

Any stored card details are securely stored with Stripe. The Harwell Harriers do not store this information directly.

Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. For more details about Stripe's security please reference their documentation directly:

https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe

You still have the option to pay offline (i.e. bank transfer or cash) but if you pay for your membership via card you will automatically see your membership status updated to be active when you log in.

If you have any queries or concerns, please contact the club's treasurer using the following email address:
