The Season for Giving

We are pleased to announce that we have given a £500 donation to the Earth Trust. This has been part of the Big Give Christmas challenge which means our funds have been matched to give this local charity an incredible £1,000.

the Earth Trust does fantastic work locally to inspire people to address climate issues, biodiversity and personal wellbeing with the power of natural green spaces.

The Earth Trust cares for the Wittenham Clumps which is the location of some of most challenging and memorable club sessions. They have always been very welcoming and supportive of the Harwell Harriers so it feels great to be able to give back to give back to the community.

Club Leader of The Year... Almost

Club Leader of The Year... Almost

A huge congratulations to our wonderful chair person Nichola Poulton for being runner up in the England Athletics' Regional Volunteer Awards for club of the year.

We've been lucky enough to have some great leaders in the Harwell Harriers who have helped to promote and grow a positive and friendly vibe within the club.

This award really goes to show the great work Nichola has done over the last few years along with the time she has given to help make this club what it is.

We are looking forward to another astonishing year here at the Harwell Harriers so if you were looking for an endorsement of whether to give us a try they don't come much better than this!
