Harwell Harriers are formed

Harwell Harriers was established by a group of like minded individuals wanting to build a community of runners.

Membership milestone

The club has over 50 members for the first time.

Club championships are launched

The Harriers launch the first club championships which will become a yearly staple at the club.

The club has over 100 members for the first time.

We get a new website!

Lets face it our old website was a bit... 1990s!

COVID happens :(

Covid forces us to close all group running sessions. Training plans were still produced and shared with the members.

Beginner courses

We launched our first beginners course to help the local community get into running and fitness.

Card payments go live

We integrate our website with Stripe secure payments to allow online card payments for memberships and subsequent "payment links" to allow card payments for smaller one off items making everything a little easier.

Affiliation

We officailly affiliate ourselves with Boundary Park giving us an official home!

Foodbank run

We did our first ever foodbank run where we gathered food and literally ran it all to our local foodbank to help the less fortunate.

Charitable donations

The Harriers are in a fortunate enough position to be able to donate £500 to the Earth's Trust that manages and maintains the Wittenham Clumps.

Membership milestone

The club has over 150 members for the first time.

The rise of AI

The Harriers trial an AI powered running form analysis app to help it's members identify areas of improvement in their running form.

Club launches brand new awards for volunteer and newcomer of the year and one for outstanding personal achievement.
